Agile Coach - Enabling Functions & Education

About Us

Sun Life is a leading international financial services organization providing insurance, wealth and asset management solutions to individual and corporate clients. We're seeking an experienced Agile Coach to join our team and drive agility across our enabling functions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a versatile Agile Coach to support our enabling functions (HR, Finance, Legal, etc.) and lead our Agile education programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching business and enabling functions, as well as experience in delivering engaging training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor enabling function teams (HR, Finance, Legal, etc.) in Agile methodologies and practices
• Design and deliver Agile education programs, both in-person and digital
• Support regional governance initiatives and document learnings in Confluence
• Assist in the creation of AI-generated video content for digital training modules
• Collaborate with AgileCoE to develop and implement Agile practices across the organization
• Identify and address impediments to team progress and organizational agility
• Measure and report on the progress and impact of Agile transformations

Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) as an Agile Coach, with a focus on enabling functions or business teams
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and their application in non-IT contexts
• Excellent facilitation and training skills, with experience in both in-person and digital delivery
• Familiarity with Confluence and other collaboration tools
• Experience in creating educational content, including digital formats
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization
• Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSP, ICP-ACC, SAFe) are preferred

Desired Skills

• Experience with AI-driven content creation tools
• Knowledge of change management principles
• Familiarity with the financial services industry

Evaluation Metrics

The success of the Agile Coach will be measured through the following metrics:

Team Satisfaction – How the teams you coach satisfy with your coaching or the participants rate the education programs you deliver. Business Outcome – How the teams you coach can deliver business outcomes that align with defined OKR. Team Growth – How the teams you coach increase maturity along the journey with your coaching.
