About the Role
To serve as a Business Systems Analyst supporting the strategic and operational development of agency technology platforms, specifically focusing on Agent Recruitment and Financing applications. The role is responsible for driving system enhancements, managing production support, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology initiatives aligned with business goals. This includes working in an Agile environment, facilitating user requirements, conducting gap analyses, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize agent recruitment and financing processes through innovative digital solutions.
- Product Owner responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic direction of agency applications of Agency Distribution Technology systems/ applications – Agent Recruitment and Agency Financing scheme: AIA Recruiter, Career Presenter, Agent Financing dashboards.
- This person will facilitate working in SDLC/ Agile environment, User Story documentation, UAT strategy and planning and implementation of complex requirements ensuring all projects are delivered on time with expected quality.
- Demonstrated ability and expertise in gathering, analyzing, and detailing complex business requirements with multiple stakeholders.
- Understand key agency metrics to identify potential pain points/ opportunities for targeted intervention/ improvement for the app and platform. Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions that aligns with business goals.
- Responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of Agents’ Recruitment & Agent Financing Dashboards system and enhancement requirement preparation. Perform testing and handle post deployment verification by ensuring AIA governance and procedures is followed.
- Solid experience and exposure in managing and driving efficient production support/ BAU processes.
- Work with hands-on approach to ensure various business needs and related technology support are met, identify business process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement and aligned with overall business and system enhancement objectives.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage within deadlines during critical project delivery. Good interpersonal skills, committed, result oriented and hard working.
- Support change management team with guides, enquiries support to agency helpdesk channel (when required).
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the financial industry, with strong knowledge of insurance distribution and agency processes.
- Hands-on experience with agent recruitment and reporting systems, including implementation, support, and enhancement.
- Proven track record in delivering complex core and digital projects, managing production support/BAU, and working in Agile/SDLC environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Excel (must-have), basic SQL, and presentation tools; familiarity with UI/UX and digital app development.
- Certifications such as LOMA or relevant system/application credentials are a plus.
