About the Department/Team:
The team supports the ETF & Indexed Strategies business, primarily focusing on portfolio management, capital markets, product strategies, and operations.

About the Role:
You are a proactive individual skilled in technical business analysis and relationship-building. Your complex problem-solving abilities enable you to support the global needs of internal business partners effectively. You take ownership of issues and risks, managing them to resolution. You contribute through analysis for large-scale custom solutions, providing recommendations to support the ETF and Unit Trust businesses. Your strategic thinking, favoring long-term solutions over short-term fixes, makes you a valuable partner in this role.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Provide strategic technical business analysis throughout all project phases, including:
  • Analyze and document requirements for system, business process, and data platform enhancements
  • Design and document strategic solutions or recommendations for business problems
  • Assist and coordinate user testing, ensuring issues are resolved pragmatically to obtain business sign-off
  • Understand the end-to-end business/technology workflow and key systems/stakeholders, advocating for critical business concerns and timelines in technology projects
  • Collaborate with project teams, report progress, and escalate risks and issues to project management promptly to ensure successful project completion.
  • Assist in providing timely technology support for critical production business processes and applications, including troubleshooting, resolution, facilitation, and escalation to other technology teams for quick resolution to meet business needs.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and partnerships across the organization, identifying opportunities where technology can enhance productivity.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Desired experience in investment management
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively convey complex information to senior business partners and technology teammates through verbal communication and documentation, including process flows, requirements, project plans, and formal business solution documents
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, maintaining professionalism and courtesy under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodology, and preferred experience with the Atlassian suite of tools
  • Experience in independently analyzing complex business and technical problems where some initiative and independent judgement is required to evaluate options, recommendation courses of action, and implement solutions through methodical decision-making and prioritization
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams, including offshore models
  • Preferred technical exposure in areas such as SQL, Snowflake, and .NET


 

The salary range for this position in Illinois is $95,000 to $104,000/ year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
