Job Description

Client Onboarding & Account Lifecycle Management

  • Set up and verify new client accounts, ensuring completeness of documentation and adherence to internal/external requirements.
  • Maintain and update client static data throughout the account lifecycle, including handling client initiated changes, regulatory update, ownership amendments, and account closure.
  • Generate and manage client correspondences (welcome letter, update notification, closure letters etc.
  • Perform name screening, bankruptcy checks, enforcement agency checks, and other mandatory verification obligations.

Document Management & Record Keeping

  • Scan, index and maintain client records in archive management system in accordance with Bank policies.
  • Support periodic audit, compliance, and regulatory checks by ensuring accurate and timely retrieval of required documents.

Securities & Asset Maintenance

  • Maintain asset data including creation and updates of securities based on market information (bond ratings, product risk levels, pricing sources etc)
  • Manage pricing activities such as daily valuation, variance checks, back dated price adjustment, and price validation.
  • Maintain fee schedules, FX/interest rate setups, and static data for custodians, markets, and counterparty profiles.

Trade & Settlement Processing

  • Process securities and derivatives settlements across equities, fixed income, ETFs, structured notes, corporate actions and mutual funds.
  • Ensure all settlements instruction, pricing, and static data align with market rules and regulatory requirements.
  • Handle trailer fees, fund rebates, and statements received from internal and external stakeholders.

Control, Risk Management & Service Delivery

  • Ensure all processes comply with SLAs, internal policies, and risk control, with timely escalation of exception or discrepancies.
  • Support end to end checks including audit confirmation request, product creation reviews and transaction verification.
  • Manage client queries and internal stakeholder requests within stipulated turnaround times.

Risk Awareness and Escalation

  • Adherence to all control points in place
  • Ensure all queries are addressed promptly and accurately.
  • Weekly and monthly pricing investigation and escalation.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding and adherence to WM escalation protocol.

Change Management & Transformation

  • Review process flows and initiate process improvements via change requests, defects
  • Participate in projects, strategic initiatives and testing

Professionalism and Growth

  • Demonstrate clear understanding and apply the RBC Values, cultures and leadership model in all daily dealings
  • Active enrollment in courses offered by Learning & Development team and to apply knowledge gained in day to day processing

Provide relief support and other duties assigned and cross train on all functions performed with the team and across department
