SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day clerical responsibilities of multiple Tyson owned Distribution Center Maintenance Departments. Some of the specific duties include, but are not limited to: Creating requisitions to order parts and supplies including any special need items. Inventory control in the receiving and storing of all plant supplies, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers. This team member would also be responsible for obtaining competitive pricing, most cost-effective shipment of supplies, expediting emergency orders, constant tracking of all pending orders, and backordered supplies. Researching any shipping receiving discrepancies, entering all shipping receiving information into the SAP system, and maintaining current MSDS files. This position would need to be able to prepare and copy weekly credit card statements, department and company reports, and assist with weekly and monthly budgets; which will include verifying documents for reasonableness and may require interaction with other supervisors and members of management. The team member may also be involved in interviewing vendors, selecting and evaluating vendors for repairs needed, and researching new products. Other important duties will include; Charging maintenance parts to specific work orders, TECO’ing workorders, and moving incomplete workorders daily as well as assigning Tyson vendor numbers and ensuring parts are in their proper bins with the proper minimum maximum levels.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 3 plus years office experience preferred. Work experience in maintenance procedures preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required. For example generating simple letters spreadsheets and creating simple queries. Working Knowledge of SAP Financials and Coupa is preferred.
Travel: 1-3 Trips per year for training.
