Job Summary: You will serve as a Contractor Office Representative in the Platform Integrity Department (NSWCCD Code 60) of CARDEROCK DIV NS This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-3 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-9 and GS-10.

Major Duties:

  • You will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of several contracts with limited complexity of various sizes and scopes.
  • You will support Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in the development of contract statements of work to meet the acquisition needs.
  • You will interface with technical leads, support codes and the contractor for completion and execution of badge requests, SAAR forms, Technical Instruction (TI) forms detailing work to be completed in support of the technical departments mission.
  • You will coordinate the review of monthly contractor performance reports with technical leads ensuring documented efforts are in compliance with the contract requirements.
  • You will perform WAWF validation and approval of contract invoices to ensure costs align with funding allocated for the efforts contracted and are in accordance with established funding guidelines/processes.
  • You will interface with Technical Leads, Project/Program Managers and Financial Analysts to support execution of funding on contracts.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-02 (GS-5/8 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing contract execution utilizing government contracting and financial management principles; monitoring contractor performance against established quality, schedule, and cost metrics for government service or supply contracts; collaborating with technical personnel and stakeholders to define and document contract requirements; and maintaining compliance with regulations throughout the contract lifecycle and procurement process.
