Job Summary: You will serve as an Administrative Services Officer in the Command Administration Division, Command Operations Department, located at the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), North Island, San Diego, CA.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: For the GS-07 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower GS-05 Grade Level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: (1) Assisting in identifying, analyzing, and recommending solution to problems in organizational structures, staffing, and administrative procedures; (2) Applying fact-finding and work measurement techniques to review position management information to correct deficiencies and recommend changes; (3) Employing the use of management information systems and software programs such as spreadsheets, word processing, and databases to prepare briefings, reports, and related documentation for assigned project; (4) Assisting in creating travel authorizations and consolidating vouchers for agency personnel through use of an automated system (e.g., Defense Travel System); and (5) Functioning as a liaison to internal and/or external contacts to ensure the organizational needs are addressed and met.
