Overview

The Administrative Assistant / IT Support role provides a blend of administrative, organizational, and technical support to ensure smooth daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy, and comfortable working across both office administration and basic IT functions.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties

  • Assist daily office operations, including scheduling meetings, coordinating calendars, and organizing internal communications.
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute documents such as reports, memos, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Maintain SOP’s by writing new ones and keeping them updated, as necessary.
  • Support leadership task coordination.
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors, clients, and team members.

IT Support Duties

  • Provide first‑level technical support for staff, including troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and network issues.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including account setup, access provisioning, and equipment allocation.
  • Install software updates, manage user accounts, and help maintain system security under IT supervision.
  • Escalate advanced technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary.
  • Assist with LC360 inventory management system.
  • Build and maintain Power BI and Power Automate Tasks.
  • Assist with other miscellaneous IT related tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate degree or higher in business administration, IT, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in administrative support and/or technical support roles.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and basic knowledge of Windows or Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with office equipment, network basics, and common business software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic IT issues with patience and clarity.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness to learn new tools and skills. 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ticketing systems or help desk software.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace), including, but not limited to, Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
  • Ability to document processes and maintain clear records.

Work Environment

  • Office‑based.
  • May require light physical activity such as moving computer equipment or office supplies.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
