As the Administrative Assistant - Dow Jones Technology, your role will support a range of strategic planning and initiatives across the organization. You will be involved in calendar management, travel & expense management, and oversee the daily activities of the executive office area. You will also be tasked with event coordination and agenda development for executive briefings. You will have an integral role in driving change, adaptation to new processes, and culture growth across a variety of business units. You will report to the Chief of Staff - Dow Jones Technology.

From revolutionizing visuals to optimizing tools and harnessing the power of data, mobile, video and social platforms, our team is committed to providing a seamless and immersive experience across all touchpoints. Collaborating closely with our newsrooms and strategic partners, we spearhead the development of groundbreaking products and technologies.
Manage complex calendars for the Chief of Staff, Product Management, and Design + Research leaders
Draft clear, concise, and professional executive communications
Build trust and rapport across the Technology team and other organizational stakeholders through reliability and professional diplomacy
Support operational excellence by seeking out opportunities to streamline tasks and own recurring processes to improve department-wide efficiency
Provide solutions-oriented support by proactively resolving issues and anticipating the needs of the executive office
Organize staff meetings, town halls, and offsites
Assist with cultural initiatives such as hackathons and onboarding to enhance the overall team experience
3+ years of experience in senior-level executive support or project management, ideally within cross-functional, internationally distributed teams across time zones
Executive writing skills which include a native ability to draft and edit professional messaging for tone, clarity, precision, and authority
Deep interest in learning the "players" and business rhythms of a matrixed, global organization
Bachelor’s Degree -OR- Equivalent Work Experience
