About the role

This role will provide administrative and accounting support to the Lima office and will report to the Peru Finance manager.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with administrative matters in the Lima office.

  • Office telephone support.

  • Receive, review and classify invoices and reimbursements from suppliers based on the internal processes that we manage.

  • Responsible for the analysis and reconciliation of invoices with information from the Guides and Operations Managers team.

  • Archive accounting documents for internal use and control as well as for external users in the event of an inspection (invoices, copies of contracts, quotes, etc.)

  • Assist the Accounting team in processes and ad-hoc requirements.

  • Review and record invoices

  • Handle petty cash

  • Create requisitions and PO for the admin & accounting team

  • Analyze and compare GL / Purchase Book / SIRE information

Requirements

  • Technical degree of Business Administration or Tourism - an Accounting degree would be a plus

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as an administrative, accounting or accounts payable assistant

  • Intermediate level of Excel High level of written and/or spoken communication in English 

  • Analytical skills

  • Proactivity and initiative Team work

  • Good relationship with suppliers

  • Efficiency and productivity

  • Organization and concentration.

  • Able to work under pressure.

  • Effective communication.

  • This role is a hybrid role based out of Peru, where a minimum number of days as set by the region, is required in the Lima office.
