Team Global Express is seeking a reliable and detail‑focused Administration Assistant to support our Gracemere depot for a 12 month fixed term contract.
This is a hands‑on role combining office administration with occasional work on the depot floor, supporting customers, drivers, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Responding to and managing all emails
General data entry and administrative duties
Answering customer phone calls and assisting with enquiries
Assisting walk‑in customers at the depot
Maintaining and updating the Depot List
Contacting customers once freight arrives in the depot
Creating manifests and trips
Preparing accurate paperwork for subcontractors and drivers
Paperwork entry into Excel
Identifying freight that has arrived or is located in the depot
Processing requests
Associating freight and printing labels
Booking pick‑ups
Conducting dock searches and locating freight within the depot
About You
Strong attention to detail and confident with high‑volume data entry
Comfortable communicating with customers, drivers, and internal teams
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Willing and able to go into the depot to locate freight when required
Confident using systems and Excel (training provided where needed)
Flexible to cover leave when required

Location: Gracemere depot
Parking: Free on‑site parking available
Safety & PPE
Steel‑cap boots required (must be provided by the employee)
High‑visibility PPE provided by Team Global Express
