Administration Assistant

Gracemere Queensland Full time

Team Global Express is seeking a reliable and detail‑focused Administration Assistant to support our Gracemere depot for a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a hands‑on role combining office administration with occasional work on the depot floor, supporting customers, drivers, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to and managing all emails

  • General data entry and administrative duties

  • Answering customer phone calls and assisting with enquiries

  • Assisting walk‑in customers at the depot

  • Maintaining and updating the Depot List

  • Contacting customers once freight arrives in the depot

  • Creating manifests and trips

  • Preparing accurate paperwork for subcontractors and drivers

  • Paperwork entry into Excel

  • Identifying freight that has arrived or is located in the depot

  • Processing requests

  • Associating freight and printing labels

  • Booking pick‑ups

  • Conducting dock searches and locating freight within the depot

About You

  • Strong attention to detail and confident with high‑volume data entry

  • Comfortable communicating with customers, drivers, and internal teams

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

  • Willing and able to go into the depot to locate freight when required

  • Confident using systems and Excel (training provided where needed)

  • Flexible to cover leave when required

Location Details

  • Location: Gracemere depot

  • Parking: Free on‑site parking available

Safety & PPE

  • Steel‑cap boots required (must be provided by the employee)

  • High‑visibility PPE provided by Team Global Express
