Round Tools Adaptor Specialist

Summary:

This position is responsible for the end-of-the-end process of adaptor installation of customized new and reconditioned tools. The position includes limits to set-up and/or operate manual lathes, CNC lathes, cut-off machines, sand blasters, and various semi-complex to complex grinding equipment. Ability to measure and inspect using various inspection methods. The requirement is to set up/operate all equipment needed to produce shanks and threaded adapters for solid carbide drills according to print and standard operating procedures. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret print specifications and work instructions accurately.
• Perform precise measurements and quality control checks per specifications.

       SET UP AND OPERATE:

• Cutoff machines (all types) 
• Manual lathe equipment
• CNC lathe equipment
• Braze equipment (all types)
• Blast and polish equipment
• TRU-Tech machines
• ANCA CNC machines

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with Quality and Safety Standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the shop/assigned area.
• Adhere to all company rules and safety policies.

Skills & Requirements:

• 2-3 years’ experience working in a mechanical or industrial environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong commitment to quality and safety standards.
• May perform other duties as required.

Shift:

• This position is for 1st shift

Pay Classification:

• W3 ($19.00 - $31.12)
