At Maersk we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Order to Cash (OTC) team in Mexico City. This role is ideal for finance professionals who want to grow their careers in a global company that is transforming logistics and supply chain management.

In this role, you will be responsible for executing daily Accounts Receivable operations, supporting collections management, account reconciliations, and financial analysis to ensure accurate cash flow and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes.

  • Process and apply incoming customer payments.

  • Manage collections activities and follow up with customers on outstanding balances.

  • Investigate and resolve billing disputes and discrepancies.

  • Prepare and maintain Statements of Account (SOA).

  • Perform account reconciliations and balance analysis.

  • Prepare reports and insights for the AR Manager.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including Finance, Sales, Order Management, and Cash Application.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation within AR processes.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, financial controls, and company procedures.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Order to Cash processes.

  • Experience with payment application, reconciliations, and customer account analysis.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar is a plus).

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environments

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Languages

  • Advanced English (B2 or higher).
