Accounts Payable Optimization Senior Manager focuses on streamlining workflows, enhancing accuracy, and implementing technology (e.g., ERP, AP automation, AI) to improve efficiency, analyze metrics, drive process optimization, manage vendor and business partner relationships, and lead cost‑saving initiatives, including cost‑per‑invoice reduction.
Responsibilities:
Process Execution Improvement & Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, automate manual tasks, and leverage technology to optimize payment cycles.
Reporting & Analytics: Generate, analyze, and present reports to senior leadership.
Vendor Management: Ensure close cooperation to resolve vendor discrepancies and ensure timely payments to maintain strong vendor relationships.
Team Management: If required, supervise, train, and mentor staff to ensure high‑quality performance.
Requirements:
Experience: 15+ years of progressive AP experience, with previous leadership, supervisory, or project experience.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, VIM, NetSuite) and Excel.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and improve process execution.
Communication: Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
