Purpose of role

Foresters Financial is looking to hire talented post-secondary student to join our Financial Management Office. This is a great opportunity for students to learn and gain valuable exposure within financial services and accounting.

Job Description

Key responsibilities/accountabilities

• Data entry into accounts payable system for cheque and EFT payments
• Reviewing and processing expense reports in Workday
• Sorting and distributing daily cheques
• Running reports for daily cheque distribution
• Light filing
• Box packing of storage room

Key Qualifications/Competencies

• Completed a minimum of one (1) year post-secondary education and will be returning to school in the fall.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
• Organized and self-motivated learner
• Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
• This role requires the successful candidate to be onsite at 789 Don Mills Road Monday - Thursday, with the ability to work from home on Friday.

Salary Range:

$18.00-$23.00 per hour

The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan, results are subject to both individual and company performance.
