What are you accountable for?
- Prepare monthly management financial information, accounts and required reporting schedules for Maxis Berhad and non-active subsidiaries
- To post certain postings for certain corporate support department/division of the active company.
- To analyse on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management
- To support group reporting specialist on all statutory reporting requirements, e.g. quarterly Bursa announcement, Audit Committee, BOD papers, etc
- To support group reporting specialist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules/ workings and the drafting of statutory financial statements for Maxis Berhad and subsidiaries.
- Handle finance related queries and requirements from corporate support department/division.
- Handle ad hoc project(s), if any
- To provide support to other team members as and when required.
What do you need to have for this role?
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/MICPA/CPA/ICAA/ICAEW) or Degree in Accounting.
- Possess at least 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience in large audit firm.
- Well verse with MFRS / IFRS and Bursa requirements; able to prepare consolidated financial statements.
- Computer skills: Microsoft office (word, excel and powerpoint), preferably with SAP knowledge
- Personal traits: Positive, Passionate, self-starter, Ability to perform under pressure in a challenging environment, Always willing to learn and A team player
