WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions for assigned entities and areas in the finance shared service center

  • Assist in the research and analysis of general ledger account variances.

  • Maintenance of General Ledger system which may involve adding new departments and accounts.

  • Development and maintenance of standard recurring Journal Entries.

  • Prepare and review assigned month-end account reconciliations accurately and on a timely basis.

  • Support accurate and timely reporting of intercompany balances to our partners and record internal elimination entries.

  • Maintain control over the fixed asset system by ensuring that all asset additions, disposals and transfers are processed timely and are reconciled to the general ledger.

  • Provide proactive analysis and support to the finance team.

  • Proactively identify and implement process improvement ideas.

  • Prepare and enhance process documentation for assigned responsibilities.

  • Maintenance of Sarbanes Oxley documentation.

  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements.

  • Prepare Ad Hoc data requests and project work as requested.

  • Responsible for higher level/more complex department deliverables.

  • Interaction with key segment business partners.

  • Back-up others as needed in the primary accounting center environment to help with workloads as appropriate and to ensure work is completed timely and accurately.

  • Prepare the fiscal reports for manager review (Tax Authorities declarations, Intrastat, Statistics)

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required.

  • 5+ years accounting experience in an international environment

  • CPA (CECCAR) is preferred but not required.

  • Advanced English skills.

  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.

  • Experience with M3, SAP or a similar ERP package.

  • Experience with OneStream or other group reporting application is a plus.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.

  • Ability to work and interact with various departments throughout the organization.

  • The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals at all levels of the Organization.

  • The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

  • Lean and digital mindset

  • Display flexibility in regard to overtime during periods of peak activity.

  • Be a team player, a self-starter who is looking to grow professionally, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The experience in the Romanian Accounting would be a plus.
