The Account Services Specialist I possesses experience with processing tax garnishments and IRS levies. The Account Services Specialist I will be responsible for learning the safe deposit box rental process and all associated tasks. This employee will also be responsible for analyzing, compiling and distributing monthly statistics to various recipients.
Responsibilities
25% Process state/county local tax garnishments, child support garnishments and IRS levies in a timely and accurate manner.
25% Key account maintenance requests, analyze and process maintenance reports based on established procedures.
25% Respond to all garnishment and deposit related inquiries via phone in a timely and professional manner. Process and respond to inbox and fax requests promptly from branch employees, tax agencies and internal departments.
15% Learn the safe deposit box rental, maintenance and surrender process. Assist with Platform related questions regarding safe deposit box agreements
10% Analyze, compile and distribute monthly deposit related statistics to various recipients including higher management. Assists with the completion of various billing and invoice processing.
Required Education
HS Diploma or GED
Required Relevant Experience

Required Knowledge, Abilities, Skills
Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must be able to navigate various systems including, but not limited to: 3270, Teller, Platform, OnBase.
Must be able to handle simultaneously, multiple tasks and changing priorities in an efficient and effective manner.
Must have effective writing and communication skills.
Must possess a working knowledge of Credit Union policies, operations and services with a focus on deposit related material and content.
Must be professional and cordial in all interactions with branch personnel, co-workers and members.
Must adhere to the established work schedule and attendance policy.
Must be able to coordinate and collaborate with team members in both on-site and remote work settings.
Must be able to speak, write, and read English fluently.

Job Environment
A hybrid remote and in-office setting. Office setting with physical proximity to other employees. Some background noise from other employees and telephone.
