Our sales team is seeking an Account Manager, based in Barueri-SP, to work with our Specialty Plastics & Additives portfolio.
Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:
- Ultimate responsibility for execution of DuPont strategy
- Identify and meet the needs of current and perspective customers by promoting and selling DuPont solutions.
- Fully utilizes CRM / Sales Force, account planning tools, margin management tools, and electronic technology to develop and share account plans with appropriate stakeholders.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of assigned DuPont products and targeted applications.
- Defines annual, value-creating goals consistent with business strategy.
- Produces appropriate sales forecasts and is able to capitalize on/ compensate for market changes.
- Develops and builds relationships with internal and external customers and influencers.
- Recognizes, anticipates, and solves customer problems resulting in business opportunities and revenue growth.
- Achieves sales goals and objectives in assigned territory as derived by business strategies and marketing plans.
- Share business and industry intelligence with DuPont counterparts (marketing, research and development, tech service, customer service, etc.) to promote increased revenue and value
- DuPont solution selling can include selling to direct, indirect (distributors), and internal clients of varying sizes and technical needs.
- Ensure Customer Service team understands customer relationships to ensure alignment within the organization.
- Manage the internal complexity of the customer who has their own challenges in coordinating globally and managing the balance of what should be global and what local.
- Engaging a virtual team: the challenges of coordinating internal resources within DuPont are often more difficult than engaging with our customers. Key Accounts need to quickly mobilize their “virtual organization” to deliver results for the customer.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A strong ownership and passion for the customer and the desire to lead a virtual global team.
- Previous experience working with plastics/polymers and additives is desirable.
- Ability to communicate expertly in English, both written and oral.
- Analytical skills and experience to know when to act globally or locally to create the most value.
- Technology understanding extended to application.
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
