Account Manager - Mid Market

What You’ll do 

  • Ability to approach the book of business as a Portfolio

  • Develop and drive the strategy to retain, negotiate and renew client contracts

  • Create a compelling vision and strategy that translates into tangible goals & objectives

  • Optimizing your portfolio of customers to achieve company goals and targets

  • Set clear success metrics for completing strategy and be accountable for results

  • Effective and proactive use of internal knowledge tools and resources needed for success

  • Analyze, manage, and improve customer profitability and maximize revenues

  • Deliver Business Reviews with insights and recommendations to drive travel program adoption, cost savings and performance against client KPI's.

  • Lead strategic client retention and growth plan for your Portfolio of Accounts

  • Proactively identify risks to the portfolio; develop and implement an action plan

  • Collaborate with operations and other internal Amex GBT teams

  • Influence key client decision makers, educating about Amex GBT’s value and key differentiators

  • Increase transaction revenue for Amex GBT Egencia and key suppliers

  • Proactively share client and market trends to internal and external leaders

What We're Looking For 

  • Solid understanding of the tech business travel industry

  • Experience in a similar role / supporting global clients preferred

  • Strong Project Management and organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize and handle contending demands

  • Adaptation and flexibility

  • Proactive identification and resolution of challenges

  • Professional communication (written and verbal)

  • Collaborative and open to feedback
