Our Commercial Sales team are now on the hunt for an accomplished Account Manager who can forge strong business relationships with key stakeholders and help drive our Commercial Sales division's success based in the Sydney Metro region, specifically around Northmead, Seven Hills & Castle Hill. Reporting directly to an Area Sales Manager, you are a knowledgeable and experienced sales professional who can confidently engage in supporting and converting new business opportunities ensuring that our commercial customer receive the most appropriate, value-added solutions that suit their business needs.

In this role, you will drive and execute the strategic sales plans of Bunnings whilst being inspired by representing the Bunnings brand you will develop expertise in our large range of products and services by increase / optimise sales to our Commercial customers, along with actively seeking and acquiring new business opportunities. Working collaboratively with other members of the Bunnings team, you will ensure that our commercial customers are provided with the very best Price, Range and Experience.  You will also develop an expertise in our products and services being promoted to market and optimise sales to our Commercial customers, ensuring they receive the most appropriate, value added solutions to suit their business needs.

What you can expect to do

  • Proven success in a sales role, a strong 'hunter' & great 'harvester' maximising sales in your territory
  • Existing relationships with Commercial Builders helpful but not essential
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve or exceed budgeted sales, maximise profit and strengthen sales across the whole of build (share of wallet/product mix)
  • Drive sales though the Bunnings network consisting of Stores, Trade Centres, as well as Frame & Truss plants
  • Build strong partnerships with clients to grow our market share and identify opportunities for new business
  • Develop and execute strategies to address local opportunities and combat competitor activities
  • Develop, implement and manage a budget that is aligned to company expectations
  • Work collaboratively with our other members of the Bunnings network, including suppliers, to ensure our Commercial customers are provided with the very best Price, Range and Experience
  • Work on large, complex projects
  • Rationalise supply chain solutions for customers
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety
