Position summary:
This position’s principal objective is to lead operations and processes through assessing opportunities and implementing ways to improve communication, collaboration, and productivity (using tools such as Sharepoint, Webex/Teams, other new/latest technologies) for the LCL/PL channel team. The position offers a unique experience in sales because of the high degree of interaction with our largest customer and various cross functional departments within the organization.
The Account Manager is also responsible for managing all aspects of customer management; driving net sales, trade management, forecasting, analytics, and business planning for assigned brands. In addition, they will provide key business foundational support for additional brands/customers as assigned by the Senior Business Development or Business Development Manager such as; analytics, forecasting, tracking, planning, deductions, and retail.
Core Responsibilities:
- Achieve Net Sales and Gross Margin objectives for assigned assigned brands within allotted trade budget using selling, negotiation, problem solving skills
- Collaborate with Market Strategy & Planning to bring annual AOP innovation and execution of corporate Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing, and Shelving priorities to life with your assigned customer(s) and/or brand(s).
- Development and support all external customer communication (pricing files, LCL Portal)
- Lead all internal communication acting as main point of contact with retail ENCORE team
- Acts as central point for delivery of quality, timeliness, coordination of all communication components and publication of sales content, strategies and production
- Support Private Label Senior Business Development Manager with projects that contribute to our estiablised Private Label vision and strategy
- Lead sales planning tools/templates development and/or refinement to bring the organization to a higher level of communication, collaboration, organization, and performance (including, but not limited to Sales Sharepoint, LCL/PL communications and meetings, trackers (Pulse & Pace), BAAR, Forecast Accuracy, training and adherence to process
- Drive standardization, automation of routine work, simplification, and breakthrough initiatives to help the sales team develop new skills and capabilities, improve productivity, and create consistencies across customer teams.
- Conduct deep dive analysis to support business growth as needed
- Own all internal LCL POS data (LYDIA) by developing key reports, scorecard trackers and useful business analytical tools to compare and contract with Nielsen reporting
- Project Manage/lead/execute ad hoc priority initiatives such as Customer Business Planning (BAAR), off and on-site meetings, and other identified initiatives as assigned
- Act as the LCL/PL team weekly meeting owner (LCL Major) facilitating agendas, pre-reads, key recaps setting the guideposts of a High Performance team environment
- Assess reporting and develop/revise in house tools for sales teams to bring visibility and assist in business tracking and decision making including (included, but not limited to Innovation tracking, forecast accuracy, ad grids in coordination with Sales Operations Manager
- Drive efficiency across the LCL/PL channel team
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Ideally, 2-4 years of progressive customer, communication, forecasting and/ or sales management experience
- Preferable experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Strong project management skills with ability to consistently and accurately meet deadlines
- Strong familiarity with the Canadian market place and the dynamic that exists between brands, retailers and consumers
- Demonstrated ability to work with and influence peers and various levels of management
- Experience managing direct reports is an asset
- Communication skills- the incumbent will be expected to work broadly within the organization, and will require strong written & verbal communication skills, along with a persuasive, tactful presenting style that teaches, aligns and facilitates discussion

Compensation:
Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
