About the Role

As an Account Group Supervisor, you are a pivotal ambassador for our agency, serving as a trusted day-to-day partner to our clients in the dynamic pharmaceutical advertising space. You will expertly manage client relationships with our HCP digital AOR clients, anticipate their short- and long-term needs, drive omnichannel projects, and proactively address issues by collaborating with both clients and internal agency teams. This role requires a blend of leadership, client-focused problem-solving, executional prowess, and a commitment to partnering closely with multiple client stakeholders and internal resources. You'll drive client growth by guiding them towards innovative solutions, ensuring seamless execution of work, challenging existing conventions, and embracing creative ideas that differentiate and elevate their brand in the healthcare market. You will ensure the delivery of impactful and strategically aligned promotional programs, partnering closely with your cross-functional team.

What You'll Do

Client Leadership & Account Management:

  • Serve as a primary client contact on an HCP-focused account, building strong, lasting relationships and understanding their business, brand objectives, and strategies.
  • Anticipate client needs and opportunities, proactively presenting innovative solutions beyond the immediate scope of work (SOW).
  • Lead team and client meetings with defined objectives, ensuring actionable outcomes and clearly communicating the agency's point of view (POV).
  • Provide strong leadership for both client and agency cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Manage client relationships, expectations, and deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
  • Partner with senior account and strategy leadership to develop brand plans and present to clients.
  • Participate in all relevant client meetings (e.g., PRC, POA/sales/training, extended team, advisory boards), representing the agency's perspective and expertise.
  • Foster strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills within the team and across all departments.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Contribute to strategic development and ensure all promotional activities align with agreed-upon strategic direction, brand objectives, and client policies.
  • Develop tactical plans and project briefs with an eye on market dynamics, brand strategy, innovation, and client guidance.
  • Review creative work to ensure it is on strategy and meets client expectations, offering recommendations.
  • Flag any changes in project scope to clients with a clear POV about necessity and recommendations for budget reallocation.
  • Ensure project momentum by working closely with internal teams to produce the best possible work, adhering to agency quality standards and attention to detail.
  • Stay abreast of competitive trends, industry initiatives, and conduct client research to provide forward-thinking POVs to clients.
  • Uncover opportunities for value-added ideas to problem-solve, influence client decision-making, and grow the business.

Financial Management:

  • Establish and manage annual budgets and staffing plans to support client and agency needs.
  • Review monthly and quarterly financial tracking reports with Finance leads and present reports to client brand management.
  • Monitor monthly and quarterly financials to ensure the achievement of financial targets and milestones.
  • Manage project budgets, weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, and annual SOW.

What You'll Need 

  • 6+ years of experience in Advertising, with a strong preference for HCP advertising, digital marketing, and passion for psychiatry and neurology.
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and effectively problem-solve, with the ability to command a room with confident and clear communication.
  • Demonstrated high degree of digital acumen and a deep understanding of the customer experience.
  • Prior internal team and client management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience presenting strategic and tactical plans.
  • Exceptional client engagement skills, including proactive and vocal communication, meeting management, presentation development and delivery, and responsiveness to questions/issues.
  • Strong financial management skills, including experience with project budgets, financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly), and annual SOW.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and departments.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
