As an Account General Manager in our Global Sales Organization, you will champion HP’s leading solutions, hybrid work offerings, and collaboration tools, guiding our customers to unlock innovation and productivity. You will develop and drive a global customer strategy within the Headquarter Market, but also together with the sales team in all the relevant markets the customer is located in.

In this role, you’ll foster impactful relationships with high-value global customers, focusing on personal systems, print and managed solutions and you will help businesses thrive, build smarter workplaces, and embrace solutions that drive sustainable success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop account plans and long-term strategies to grow HP’s market share
  • Owns and coordinates account plans on large global accounts and focuses on value and/or volume portfolio management and selling a range of the organization’s offerings.
  • Manages account planning process through scheduled reviews and updates, identifies and builds growth opportunities, upselling, and cross-selling to the clients.
  • Demonstrates advanced level of subject matter expertise and applies consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities resulting in profitable revenue growth for the organization.
  • Evangelize HP’s Personal Systems, Print, Managed Service Solutions with hybrid work technologies, helping customers adapt to modern business needs.
  • Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level Executives.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, maintaining a high level of customer loyalty, and develops a core understanding of their unique business needs and challenges.
  • Demonstrates advanced level of subject matter expertise and applies consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities resulting in profitable revenue growth for the organization.
  • Apply consultative-selling skills to uncover opportunities and deliver results that matter to your customers.
  • Identify and drive new opportunities, managing a diverse and robust global sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate across teams and accounts to enable customer success and make a positive impact.
  • Drive global teams to maximize HPs success around the globe for the respective customers
  • Achieves and manages quarterly, half-yearly, and annual quota and/or margin

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of commercial account management experience with a proven ability to manage large, complex deals.
  • Experience in driving global deals and working with global customers
  • Experience in driving innovative solutions within a related industry.
     

Skills & Expertise:

  • Fluent English and Chinese language skills are required. Cantonese would be a plus
  • Strong ability to champion HP’s modern hybrid work, print and personal systems offerings.
  • Excellent time management and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex solutions for customers.
  • Exceptional relationship-building capabilities, particularly with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in negotiating and presenting value-driven solutions in competitive situations.
  • A collaborative mindset, eager to partner across global teams, leverages full pan-HP capabilities to add significant value to drive shared success.
