Account Executive – Health Brokerage
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Account Executive to join our Health Brokerage team. Reporting to the Health Brokerage Sales Vice President, this individual will play a key role in both retaining our existing book of business and driving new sales growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping businesses find the right health insurance solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain proficiency in our full carrier and product portfolio, including fully-insured, level-funded, and self-funded plan designs
Support the Health Brokerage Sales VP with day-to-day sales activities, client calls, and account strategy
Prepare benefit illustrations, proposals, and presentations tailored to employer group needs
Respond to inbound service inquiries from agent partners and employer clients, including questions related to benefits, billing, and plan changes
Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing book of business; assist in driving new client acquisition through referrals and outreach
Build and maintain strong relationships with agent partners, HR contacts, and key decision-makers
Coordinate marketing campaigns and sales outreach initiatives, including email communications, events, and collateral distribution
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems, tracking client interactions, pipeline activity, and upcoming renewals
Support the annual renewal process by preparing renewal analyses and coordinating carrier communications
Competencies:
Required -
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client-first approach
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and follow-through
Preferred -
Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Applied Epic, or similar)
Knowledge of small group and mid-market health insurance markets
2+ years of experience in health insurance, employee benefits, or a related sales support role
Active Life & Health insurance license, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire

Compensation:
Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
