GFL Environmental is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team in Edmonton! In this role, you will promote, sell, and expand our solid waste services to businesses and industrial establishments in your assigned territory.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

  • Identify new market opportunities and implement strategies to drive sales growth.

  • Provide price quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze customer waste stream needs and offer tailored solutions.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive market activities.

  • Represent GFL at business meetings, industry events, and civic functions.

What You Bring:

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales Experience: 2-3 years in sales, preferably within the solid waste industry. A business development background would be an asset.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to build rapport.
Technical & Analytical Abilities: Understanding of pricing, margins, and sales techniques.
Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage your territory effectively.
Valid Driver’s License: Travel within the assigned region is required.
