We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven 340B Compliance & IT Coordinator to lead and optimize 340B program compliance across the health system. This role serves as a critical liaison between Pharmacy, IT, Finance, and external vendors—ensuring program integrity, regulatory adherence, and strong financial performance.
Role Overview
The 340B Compliance & IT Coordinator is responsible for maintaining compliant 340B operations through auditing, data analytics, and system optimization. This position plays a key role in monitoring regulatory changes, enhancing reporting structures, and supporting pharmacy IT systems to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant program execution.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and optimize 340B program compliance through auditing, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms
Serve as the primary liaison between Pharmacy, internal departments, and external vendors regarding 340B operations
Develop, implement, and maintain electronic records, reporting tools, and compliance workflows
Monitor and interpret regulatory updates; implement operational changes to ensure ongoing compliance and optimal financial outcomes
Conduct data analysis and present findings, recommendations, and performance updates to Pharmacy leadership
Provide technical support for pharmacy IT systems and related workflows
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance compliance, efficiency, and reporting accuracy
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience in finance, IT, or accounting)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy recordkeeping or related fields (business, IT, finance, accounting, or supply chain)
Demonstrated experience with data systems, reporting tools, and recordkeeping software
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
Proficiency in computer applications, including typing (40 WPM) and 10-key calculator use
Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
PTCB certification required within 2 years of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience with 340B program operations in a health system
Strong understanding of pharmacy supply chain, ambulatory pharmacy, pharmacy operations, health system IT, reimbursement, and finance
Training & Development
Completion of Apexus 340B University
Completion of Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program
