Internship Program Overview:  

Our Interns are our talent pipeline for GF across the globe. Our goal is to provide students with meaningful work experience that will equip them with the skills to embark on a career in the fast-paced and growing semiconductor industry after graduation. As an intern at GF, you will experience one-on-one mentorship, work assignments that prioritize your growth and potential, professional development opportunities, and the chance to network with executives. 

Project Title:

Deep analysis on the Equipment Stability program (LAM Tool platform) and drive the continuous improvement plan with the Engineers

Project Objective:

To able to assist the Engineers to understand deeper and help to optimize the entire workflow by reducing unnecessary downtime. To also develop individual analytics reasoning and project coordination.

Project Description:

1) To learn the basic of the equipment tool type and understand the calculation of the productive uptime/downtime

2) Liaise with the Engineer (Manufacturing/Process/Equipment) to deep dive and analyze a specific equipment tool group to understand the bottleneck

3) Work with the respective stakeholders to drive the continuous improvement actions to close the gap

Project Outcome:

Through this internship, the intern will understand the Semiconductor industry field and also able to understand more in depth on how an equipment personnel work in their day-to-day operation. He will also gain good analytical and technical understanding how an Etcher tools function, improving their analytical skills and data presentation.

Required Qualifications:

Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
