About The Opportunity
The Bobst Poly Joiner Assistant B is responsible for stacking the finished product per customer specifications to make a unit. The person in this position will also help the Bobst Poly Joiner Operator and the Bobst Poly Joiner Assistant A set up machinery by preparing bottom slip sheets per customer requirements and proper paperwork.Essential Functions:
Stack off finished bundles
Rotate positions every couple of hours as needed
Prepare paperwork
Make bottom slip sheets for each order
Maintain a clean work area
Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of the machine as necessary
Check finished product for quality per customer specifications
Ensure quality is a work priority by being attentive to detail and accuracy and by actively seeking work process improvements— quality is the responsibility of all employees
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
Ability to effectively work in teams
Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
Ability to read a tape measure/ruler
Good mathematical skills
Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Pay Rate:
Training $ 25.90
Qualified $ 27.86
Work Hours
3-2-2-3 Schedule (M, T, F, S, S, W, T, repeat)
6pm to 6am
