The Environmental Compliance Program Department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our ongoing environmental initiatives. What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
Assist with the implementation and monitoring of environmental compliance programs and initiatives.
Conduct research and data analysis related to environmental regulations, policies, and best practices.
Prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials.
Support the development and delivery of training sessions and outreach activities for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal and external customers on projects related to environmental permitting, audits, and regulatory documentation.
Help maintain records and ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
H.S. Diploma/GED plus college degree-seeking student in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Environmental Policy, Conservation Biology, Zoology, or a closely related field; or recent graduate and <1 year relevant experience.
Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
Strong interest in environmental regulations, wildlife compliance, and sustainability practices.
Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn new software as needed.
