Department Summary

The Project Management team is integral to Roche's mission, driving cross-functional collaboration and ensuring the timely, efficient, and successful execution of key initiatives across our global portfolio. Our interns gain hands-on experience in the planning, execution, and closing of complex projects that directly impact patient outcomes and business strategy. This internship position is located in Santa Clara, on-site.

The Opportunity

  • Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Track project deliverables, monitor deadlines, and proactively identify and communicate potential risks or scope changes.

  • Facilitate project team meetings, document meeting minutes, decisions, and action items, and ensure follow-up.

  • Support the creation of presentations and communication materials for stakeholders and leadership updates.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and tools within the department.

Program Highlights

  • Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

  • Program start dates are in May/June 2026.

  • A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship.

  • Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

  • Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Who You Are

Required Education

You meet one of the following criteria:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree (enrolled student).

  • Must have attained a Bachelor's degree (recent graduates, within 1 year of graduation - not currently enrolled in a grad program).

  • Must be pursuing a Master's degree (enrolled student).

Required Majors: Business Administration, Project Management, Science or Engineering.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated interest or coursework in Project Management, Business Operations, or a related field.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.

  • Basic understanding of agile or waterfall methodologies.Familiarity with the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. 

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of  California, is $24.00-$40.00 hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
