What You'll Be Doing
- Operate underground mining equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform scaling, mucking, and material handling to support production
- Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and actively contribute to hazard reporting
- Support mine operations through teamwork and effective communication
What Are We Looking For
- Ability to work safely in an underground mining environment
- Competence in operating or learning to operate heavy mobile equipment
- Strong situational awareness and adherence to safety procedures
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks in varied conditions
- Willingness to work collaboratively and adapt to operational needs
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
