ABOUT US
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Some young people in Kalgoorlie Boulder are facing homelessness, uncertainty and big life transitions without the support they deserve. Our Youth Accommodation Service offers safety, stability and a chance to reset. As a Youth Worker, you will be part of the team that walks alongside them as they rebuild confidence and move toward independence.
This is meaningful, people centred work. Every shift is different. You might be helping a young person navigate a tough moment, supporting them to access services, or creating a calm and welcoming space where they can feel grounded again. You will be part of a small and committed team that shows up with compassion, consistency and respect.
This is a casual position with shifts offered as needed. Pay is in accordance with a SCHADS Level 4.
