Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
As a Young Talent Associate, you play a critical role in supporting the execution of early career initiatives (the young talent programmes) by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, University outreach, engagement activities, and program administration. You are expected to contribute to building a strong pipeline of future talent and help ensure a positive experience for interns and graduates.
What are you accountable for?
Support execution of internship, graduate, and scholarship programme activities.
Assist in screening, coordinating interviews, scheduling sessions, and candidate communications.
Help prepare materials and logistics for campus engagements, career fairs, or on-campus activities.
Coordinate onboarding and induction sessions.
Maintain candidate records, databases, and programme documentation. Support engagement activities and events.
Liaise with universities and student groups.
Prepare simple reports on programme outcomes.
Collaborate closely with the Young Talent Specialist and HR team members to ensure smooth delivery of programme milestones.
Ensure compliance with company policies.
What do you need to have to fit this role?
Bachelor’s degree in any field; fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Come with 0–2 years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, university engagement, or related fields; internship or student leadership experience is welcome
Intermediate communication (verbal & written), organisation skills, attention to detail, and data entry
Beginner-level event coordination, teamwork, and relationship building
Strong willingness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
