Wage Grade: Production 05B $22.31-$28.53

Shift: N1, 6:15P-6:15A, 4On4Off

Position Purpose:

The purpose of the Yogurt Cup Utility is to provide skilled support for Casing Operator, Filler Operator, Robot Palletizer. A Utility partner will perform these duties as needed (Ex= Break relief, vacation coverage, etc.)  Refer to the other job descriptions for details there.

ANY AND ALL OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED BY LEADERSHIP

Essential Functions:

-Perform duties as Utility, Casing Operator, and Filler Operator as needed on a vacation/break relief basis or as needed. Daily 12 hrs.

-Must have complete compliance with all GMP and food safety standards.  This includes, but is not limited to, wearing all PPE, following all safety guidelines, and meeting OSHA safety requirements. Daily 12 hrs.

-Reading production and batching schedules to ensure that all orders are filled on time and with the correct number of cases.  Partners should always remain flexible to compensate for production fluctuations. Daily 4 hrs.

-Proficiently utilize OPM and RMCS to accurately track packaging supplies and completed product. Daily 6 hrs.

-Completing all CP’s, CQP’s, QP’s accurately, at the specified time and on the specified product. Daily 4 hrs.

-Performing necessary clean-up tasks related to all the machines. Daily 6 hrs.

-Keeping the entire department audit ready.  Free time should be used to perform housekeeping tasks. Daily 12 hrs.

Operate Chill Tunnel Daily

Maintain Pallet location in Chill Tunnel and adjust/move if needed Daily            

Perform all process CP, CCP, QP, and CQP checks required for the position. Follow reaction plans for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement deviations.  Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper production operation.  Demonstrate identity of product and, record accurate data on production reports.

Non-Essential Functions:

Continuously work to improve line productivity, reduce raw material waste, and increase product quality. Daily 12 hrs.

Ability to work overtime (OT) and/or weekends as required.

Help others and perform tasks outside of primary job duties as assigned.

Partners must be hardworking, self motivated, dependable (less than 3% absenteeism), results-oriented and adaptable. The partner must also develop a complete understanding of all equipment under their supervision and have the ability to remain organized. The partner must have excellent communication skills and general computer skills.  Partner must be able to proficiently maneuver a pallet jack in close areas. Partners must be willing to adapt rapid, possibly frequent changes that may include responsibilities beyond those described in this document.

Physical Demands Analysis:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Requires repetitive hand and wrist motion.
  • Requires repetitive bending and lifting.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours each day.
  • Must be able to move 400 lb. Salvage barrels with a dolly
  • Must be able to go up and down stairs.
