What will you do:

  • Performs daily equipment inspection of yard tractor.

  • Inventory trailers on the lot as necessary and verify outbound BOL’s vs. lot check.

  • Report damages to Supervisor to contact trailer vendors and truck leasing companies.

  • Report any integrity issues in regard to yard staging grounds i.e. (potholes, slopes, sink holes, etc.).

  • Make all yard moves to stage trailers efficiently and safely in response to needs of the warehouse operations per Yard Commander 2.0 and update as necessary.

  • Perform yard driver/trailer spotter responsibilities as needed and requested.

  • Assist internal and external customers with orders as needed.

  • Perform warehouse duties/functions as needed.

Warehouse Operator Functions and Duties:

  • Load and unload trucks with forklift in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Unload inbound freight and scan materials into our inventory locations.

  • Load outbound trucks for freight to dealers and distributors.

  • Pick and load LTL freight and scan materials into deliveries.

  • Create packing slips and BOL’s.

  • Complete shipping and receiving paperwork in a thorough and accurate manner.

What will you need?

  • Class A CDL is required.

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Previous sit-down forklift operation experience and training is required.

  • Knowledge of warehousing operations.
