Team / division overview
Xtrackers, the ETF brand of DWS, offers one of Europe’s most comprehensive and innovative ETF platforms. Xtrackers is among the top 3 ETF providers in Europe by assets under management.
The Xtrackers Sales Specialist team within the Client Coverage Division is responsible for managing professional clients in Germany, Austria, and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) with DWS's passive product offerings. The team combines direct client engagement with specialist knowledge of ETFs and passive mandates. It serves, among others, asset managers, private banks, retail banks, wealth managers, family offices, corporates, pension funds, and insurance companies. The team is actively involved in regional outreach through roadshows and macro-outlook events in different cities, helping clients stay informed on market trends and product developments.
Your responsibilities:
As our Coverage Specialist, you will:
Product focus: ETFs, Index Funds and Indexed Mandates
Broad market coverage across the Austria & CEE region, across multiple client segments with KPI’s focused on asset growth, revenue growth and client retention
Specialist sales role, aligned to broader market coverage and client specialists based primarily in Eastern Europe and Austria
Management and implementation of client related activities such as client meetings, events, road shows, conferences, etc.
Business planning, client tiering and segmentation and execution of sales strategy
Handling of client requests while ensuring a prompt and accurate response as well as finding quick solutions to such issues as compliance guidelines, modification of mandates or investment guidelines, performance calculations, valuation reconciliation and general developments in the client segment
Organizing and coordinating regular communications and reports to clients and prospects
Management of periodic client communications and holdings reporting
Collaboration with sales support, the passive product division and capital markets
Collaboration across the wider EMEA Passive coverage team
We are looking for:
Education: Educated to degree or equivalent, higher education degrees or Bank apprenticeship with relevant business experience and further education
Business Experience: Minimum 4 years experience in financial markets and sales roles
Markets: Strong know-how of current drivers for change in the wholesale market – regulatory environment, changing client needs, competitor positioning
Skills: technical asset allocation, trading and/or product structuring as well as fund/index MF product and trading know-how
A strong client service mentality
Team player
English and German language needed, other European language, especially CEE, is beneficial
