Main Purpose of the Job:
XOPs Asst Data Manager Commex will play the pivotal role in Design and delivering Data and Analytical solutions that empower business decision making, drive efficiency through automations and process re-engineering, setup and lead end to end Devops for Finance products.
This is a unique opportunity to establish and lead a cutting-edge connected data solution and a dynamic team, supporting the strategic and operational needs. In this role, you will build robust AI first data solutions, implement advanced analytics, and foster a data-driven culture that empowers strategic decision making.
This role is tasked to deliver the Products (prescriptive, predictive and AI Products) across commex products domain driving maximum value from data. Define, execute, and embed the data and analytics strategy, delivering the data platform foundations needed to fuel our analytical products. Partnering with our product and BG CDIO teams to define the product roadmap, data strategy and translating the same to delivery roadmap.
The position will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of XOps for the products – Connected Data program, and other finance products. This role will ensure the seamless integration of these operations to drive efficiency, improve service delivery, and support the overall business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
This role will be instrumental in shaping a future-ready, data-driven organization by leading the technical enablement of scalable analytics and data solutions. This role will be part of high-performing, cross-functional team, working closely with Finance Business Analytics team, stakeholders, and senior leadership to establish best-in-class practices across data solutions, BI, and driving digital adoption in Finance.
XOPS Delivery
Lead Devops of analytical products in Finance domain through 3P managed service model optimizing costs and driving efficiency
Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and lifecycle management
Own end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations are met
Track and report delivery metrics, proactively identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
Manage delivery-related financials, including effort estimation, resource planning, and budget adherence.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with business goals.
Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring transparency and shared understanding.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, documentation, and process optimization.
Champion Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies, adapting them to suit project and team needs.
Identify opportunities to embed and leverage AI capabilities into Data solutions to improve efficiency and insight generation.
Stay current with emerging AI trends and evaluate their applicability to ongoing projects, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Solution Architecture & Design
Work closely with engineering, data science, and XOps delivery teams to create architecture blueprints aligned with enterprise and CoE standards.
Guide POCs and MVPs to validate ideas quickly and drive scale-up of successful initiatives.
Guiding delivery and OPS teams to achieve architecture/code optimization and cost savings through Agentic AI
Data Architecture
Ensure data architecture supports interoperability across internal systems and external partners.
Experience and qualifications required:
Technical Skills:
Hands-on with Azure ecosystem like Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Data Lake.
Azure experience (ADF, ADB), experience and deep understanding of Agile/DevOps/ML development lifecycle from conception to delivery in Data & Analytics area
Good understanding of data modelling and building clean, scalable pipelines.
Experience with ETL tools and integrating data from multiple sources.
Strong knowledge of data management, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, R & SQL
Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Figma, Paginated Reports or similar.
Familiar with data security, governance, and compliance standards.
Experience in performance tuning and cost optimization
Proven ability to establish, lead and develop high-performing teams.
Familiar with Agile methods, project planning, and managing timelines.
Experience in developing Web applications will be an added advantage
