X-Plant Operations Leader (Temp Agency)

Job Description:

An opportunity for a X-Plant Operations Leader has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, San Pablo(Sevilla). 

We are seeking an experienced X-Plant Operations Manager with a strong background in A400M aircraft structures and systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various A400M components and systems, as well as a proven track record in managing complex operations and multidisciplinary teams. This role requires a proactive individual with the ability to work effectively in a multinational environment.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Oversee day-to-day operations related to A400M

• Manage and coordinate activities related to the A400M Wing, Nose Fuselage, Pylons, Centre Wing Box, and Vertical Tail Plane (VTP) within the production team.

• Manage NCs, TLBs, FINObs, QSRs, MODs, Concession and cannibalisation processes.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.

• Prioritise workload to achieve Final Assembly Line (FAL) milestones and production targets.

• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure on-time delivery.

• Utilise SAP modules (APD, PEA, PAC, PGI) for planning, execution, and monitoring of operations.

• Supervise and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.

SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. 

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in the aerospace industry.

• Specific experience with A400M aircraft structures and systems is mandatory.

• Experience in managing HNCs, TLBs, FINObs, QSRs, MODs, concession, and cannibalisation processes.

• Excellent command of English and Spanish (both written and spoken), is a must.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage complex and dynamic situations with a proactive attitude.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multinational team.
