Job Description:

Defines, manages, and evaluates business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic objectives. Leads and partners with cross-functional teams to develop short-term (typically less than two years) business plans and supporting data-driven models. Prepares comprehensive implementation tactics, including execution plans, resource allocation plans, follow-up guidelines, assessment, and process accountabilities. Ensures that business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders. Sets business metrics, evaluates actual performance, and makes recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement. Develops data-driven analyses to optimize resources and ensure that business plans can be translated into financial value. 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the global GTM strategy for Block Storage portfolio, including HPE Alletra MP B10000 and relevant solutions.
  • Align with GBU PM and marketing teams on the roadmap, new releases, messaging and top priorities.
  • Align with Geo sales and category leaders to ensure consistent execution and localization of global initiatives and sales programs.
  • Develops and drives comprehensive business plan recommendations, based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience.
  • Develops recommendation from complex data and business analyses and formulates them into business plans.
  • Establishes the metrics required to measure business performance, and recommends the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps.
  • Leads highly complex, time- sensitive market research projects and identifies compelling trends and opportunities for business leaders.
  • Staffs and manages cross- functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities.
  • Drives all aspects of priority projects and makes final team decisions.
  • Develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities as partners with client business leaders.
  • Counsels business leaders, recommends approaches for executing high-level strategies and develops creative solutions

Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically 10+ years total experience in enterprise sales, sales operations, or portfolio management in the IT infrastructure space.
  • Deep understanding of block storage technologies, including AFA, NVMe, SAN and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Prove success in leading global sales initiatives and driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.

  • Ability to see the big picture and align sales programs with long-term business goals.
  • Understand market dynamics and translate them into actionable sales strategies.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.

  • Understand the needs and pain points of enterprise customers and partners.
  • Navigate ambiguity and resolve conflicts or roadblocks proactively.

  • Confidently engage with senior stakeholders and represent the portfolio in strategic forums.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $119,500.00 - $275,000.00
