HP is hiring a Worldwide Instant Ink Category Manager to support our Instant Ink Subscription service expansion.  We’re looking for an individual with excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in product and category management, ideally in a subscription service environment or HPS (Home / Consumer Print Services). 

HP Instant Ink is the flagship subscription service offered by HP, is a strategic business priority, available in 35 countries worldwide, that holds the worldwide market leadership in subscription models transformation in the consumer print industry. 

In this role, you will be representing the GTM / Category team as Instant Ink is continuously evolving its service value portfolio, streamlining consumer engagement and optimizing operationalization. In this role, you will utilize customer and market insights as well as product management and business analytics skills and techniques to drive the rollout of the service and manage it to deliver on the business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead projects that involve cross-functional coordination to provide integrated products/services/solutions. Proven project management and prioritization skills.
  • Good understanding on consumer needs and behaviors.
  • Background on channel and RTM requirements and specificities.
  • Direct to consumer RTM understanding and drive.
  • Excellent analytical skills and how to translate insights to action.
  • In-depth experience and skills working cross-functionally with GBU (Global Business Unit), Marketing & Markets.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing, Business, or Technical fields; Program Mgmt Certification preferred
  • 5 years in product marketing or business management fundamentals
  • Demonstrated strategic leadership in go-to-market programs
  • Demonstrated experience working with sales partners, Marketing teams and customers
  • Influence at the executive level, as well as with customers and partners
  • Strong computer skills (ex: proficient in MS Office, especially Excel) 
  • Strong business analytics skills
