Workstations are at the cutting edge of technology and driving new use cases and innovation for HP’s customers and partners and are one of the fastest growing product categories in the PC Industry. Workstation products are highly technical and evolved, designed directly with customers’ use cases and applications in scope and capable of handling future applications as they provide a huge range of customization and flexibility.
New Product Introduction (NPI) is a core function of Category Product Lifecycle Management and forms the center point of ensuring our exciting products are ready for market deployment. 2026 will be a year of exciting new product & technology launches for the HP Z product portfolio.
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and technically adept New Product Introduction (NPI) / Launch Manager to orchestrate the successful commercialization and launch of our cutting-edge hardware products. This critical role involves coordinating all cross-functional activities from final development stages through to market launch, ensuring a seamless and timely introduction of high-quality products.
Responsibilities
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, or New Product Introduction (NPI) specifically within a high-tech hardware or consumer electronics company.
Technical Acumen: Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of the product development lifecycle for the HP Z workstations or HP Elite products, including familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain concepts.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate complex problems simply and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Teamwork: Strong collaborator, building relationships and working well across various teams to provide one voice of launch deliverables to market and sales teams.
Attention to Detail: Proven track record of managing highly detailed launch checklists and processes with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
AI Fluency: Uses AI to increase personal and team productivity and ideally has some experience building chatbots and AI agents to help people find relevant product information.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Marketing or a related field.
PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certification.
Experience launching products across global markets.
Experience launching more than one of HP's commercial products to market.
Familiarity with HP's commercial launch management tools and processes.
