Job Details:
The Workshop Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairs of BFI equipment. This role ensures that the Workshop Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and repair procedures are strictly adhered and complied with.
Role Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and record all completed tasks including tracking of repair TAT and recording of all spares used for all repairs.
- Track the repair TAT for all overseas repair requirements for equipment beyond workshop repair capabilities.
- Ensure all QA procedures are observed and strictly adhered to during the repair/maintenance of all equipment.
- Assist the warehouse to diagnose and rectify equipment operational issues as and required.
- Provide technical support on 24/7 basis for overseas Exercise Support as and required.
Role Requirements:
- Diploma/NTC/NITEC in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution
- At least 1 year of working experience in electronics equipment repair
- Computer literate
- Able to work in a team environment
- Able to work beyond work hours where required
- Ability to travel as needed by individual project requirements.
- Diligent, responsible, punctual and the willingness to accept added responsibilities.
- Must maintain and clear security clearance
- Must have completed National Service in Singapore
- Must be able to work odd hours &/in accordance with contractual requirements and in remote areas
