About the Role: 
We are looking for a Workplace Relations Business Partner to join our team. This role can be based in either Melbourne (VIC) or Sydney (NSW) and will join our exceptional national workplace relations team that fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation.   Working with the National Workplace Relations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery and operationalisation of the industrial relations strategy.

  • Developing and managing key relationships with stakeholders across the industrial relations environment

  • Supporting the region with operational industrial relations issues including enterprise bargaining, managing disputes and grievances, interpretation of industrial instruments, employee engagement and implementing strategies regarding flexibility, inclusion and wellbeing

  • Supporting the national industrial relations strategy

  • Assisting in the delivery of training and education sessions to build leader capability

About You:

  • A consultative approach, and the ability to contribute and influence.

  • The ability to identify the immediate issues at play with a strategic focus, implementing strategies for long term achievements.

  • Exposure to simplification and process improvements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Construction industry experience would be advantageous.

  • A self-motivator who loves to work collaboratively.

  • Who is passionate and eager to grow in their career.

  • Experience within HR and/or IR.
