POSITION SUMMARY:

The Workforce Real Time Specialist will, as an integral member of the Retail Workforce Team, be responsible for real time monitoring of retail location scheduling, to ensure US retail locations are schedule in alignment with US laws and Oportun scheduling policies. The Real Time Analyst will serve mainly as liaison between District Manager and Retail Workforce management to alleviate scheduling conflicts on real time situations. Responsible for supporting, in real time, unexpected event changes, in coordination with other areas.

This is an entry-level role in the Retail Workforce Management department. These operations and service role requires a positive attitude, creative problem solving, high attention to detail and follow-through to ensure we serve our internal clients with the highest level of service. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Main point of contact for any real time changes for Retail Operations
  • Support retail operation with reports and information
  • On call back-up for Retail Workforce Analyst for forecasting and scheduling
  • Work closely with the retail operations team to analyze and help improve processes
  • Production of Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports for retail
  • Provide assistance to Retail WFM team as needed
  • Monitoring store openings and providing store staffing recommendations when store coverage is impacted, due to terminations, call outs, outages, etc.
  • Tracking and staffing of non-planned activities (meetings, trainings), Handwritten Letter Project scheduling, power app maintenance and update to reflect new weeks and assignments.
  • Assist the Retail WFM team as needed.
  • Work on Projects assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingual Spanish / English
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills including the ability to design presentations and communicate throughout all levels of the organization. Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish required, as translation skills are often required.
  • Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrates accurate decision-Making ability, proactively gathers the right data from appropriate sources.
  • Analytical with attention to detail
  • Flexible team player with a positive attitude
  • Organized with the ability to quickly and effectively adapt to change
