Job Description
As a Workforce Insights Analyst, you will be a primary architect of our Professional Services workforce transformation. You will move beyond simple reporting to create the data-enabled tools and insights that allow leaders across our global organization to make smarter, faster, and more strategic decisions about their teams.
You will support the integrity and evolution of our most critical workforce data—specifically our Skills Database and Role-Based Segmentation Framework. You will work side-by-side with our Workforce Insights Program Manager and other leaders to ensure that every level of we have visibility into the capabilities and health of our workforce.
You will report to the Workforce Insights Program Manager.
Your Responsibilities - What you will do:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate globally with Lifecycle Services Operations, Delivery Leaders, and HR Technology teams to identify data visibility needs through participation in "Voice of the Customer" sessions.
- Requirement Translation: Translate desired business and workforce outcomes into tangible technical specifications, data models, and visualization solutions.
- Data Integrity & Governance: Design and implement methodologies to assess data quality. Partner with the Program Manager to improve accountability for data cleansing across responsible teams to ensure our tools remains a trusted source of value.
- Advanced Data Modeling: Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ingest and cleanse data from multiple sources into our data warehouse for efficient delivery to Power BI.
- Workforce Analytics: Perform proactive analysis of the workforce to identify opportunities for optimization. You will analyze the size, shape, and attributes of our teams against defined targets to suggest improvements.
- Tool Development & Maintenance: Build Power BI reporting projects, ensuring they align with enterprise guidelines while meeting specific Lifecycle Services needs.
- Impact Measurement: Define and track success metrics for the tools you build, proposing solutions to increase user adoption and the impact of workforce insights.
- Continuous Innovation: Identify gaps in our current data landscape and advocate for the acquisition or creation of new data sets to allow high-value use cases.
The Essentials - You will have:
Experience: 3+ years in Business Analytics or Business Intelligence, with experience deploying Power BI tools.
- Data Proficiency: Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (pivots, data management) and a foundational proficiency in at least one programming language used in Power BI (DAX, R, or Python).
- HR Data Familiarity: Experience working with HR/HCM systems and a fundamental understanding of talent/employee data.
- End-to-End Solution Delivery: Experience translating business needs into technical solution design, development, delivery, & maintenance.
- Collaboration and value delivery: Secures mutual agreement on solution requirements and delivery expectations and to "tell a story" with data to management audiences.
The preferred - you might also have:
- Advanced Systems: Experience with Workday Talent Management, Cornerstone LMS, and Databricks notebooks for SQL-based querying of large datasets.
- Domain Expertise: Familiarity with service delivery performance metrics for resource and workforce management (utilization, capacity, leveling, and profitability).
- Industry Context: Conversant in Manufacturing Operations, Industrial Automation technology, and skillsets associated with serving the industry.
- Modern AI: A foundational understanding of AI concepts (LLMs and prompt engineering) and how to apply them to workforce data.
