Summary of Job Duties:

Responsibilities: Primary duties include instructing EMT, CPR, and Stop-The-Bleed classes. As
an EMT Instructor, your responsibilities include:
• Supervising students during emergency scenarios.
• Maintaining and processing student records and clinical documentation.
• Evaluat ing and reporting stud ent progress.
• Assisting with clinical orientations and skills checkoffs when required.
• Serving on the EMS Advisory Committee
• Performing any Allied Health or EMS Program Director, and other duties assigned to you by the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Director of Allied Health, or EMS Programs Director.


Qualifications:

Qualifications: AAS in Paramedicine or equivalent, current Arkansas Paramedic license, and National Registry Paramedic certification preferred. Must possess good communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, and be willing to learn online teaching requirements. Additional requirements:
• AHA BLS, ACLS, & PALS Provider Cards, AHA BLS, ACLS, & PALS Instructor Cards, or completion of instructor courses during the first semester
• Arkansas EMS Instructor card or completion of instructor training during the first semester. Records of required immunizations for clinical sites (i.e., TB Skin Test, Flu Vaccinations, MMR, HEP B, COVID-19, etc.)


Additional Information:
