The Workers’ Compensation Administrator will be based in our Lincolnshire, IL office and is responsible for end-to-end management of workers’ compensation claims, ensuring effective coordination between internal business partners, third-party administrators (TPAs), and external vendors to drive timely, compliant, and cost-effective claim resolution. This role plays a critical part in aligning claim activity with operational needs, supporting OSHA recordkeeping and compliance requirements, and monitoring claim-related financial exposure including medical costs, lost time, and reserves. The position requires strong knowledge of workers’ compensation principles, proactive claim management skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-state environment while balancing both independent work and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Do:
Workers' compensation duties:
Participation in full-cycle claim activities from the beginning of the claim event to claim closure
Communicate with location members on injury events and with Third-party administrators for claim management
Align claim activities with business operations, ie - limited duty program
Apply resources such as Nurse Case management, diagnostic coordination
Monitor expenses -- medical, lost time, projected impairments
Outline worker's compensation cases with Gb adjusters and coordinate resolution
Participate in claim meetings and presentation of a training program for claim reporting
Manage worker's compensation claim process for Monopolistic states
Serve as team contact for TPA & claim contact as assigned
OSHA recordkeeping duties:
Continuance of conversion process to Origami for real-time OSHA recordkeeping
Timely updating of OSHA recordkeeping for claim events
Respond to applicable OSHA surveys
Serve as contact for OSHA log retrieval and OSHA inspection visits to locations
Financial duties:
Participate in financial management oversight of casualty insurance program including Monthly reconciliation of service fees and allocations, and monitoring of IBNR for changes
What You’ll Need to have for the Role:
Extensive working knowledge of workers' compensation & risk management administration is required
Bachelor' degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or related discipline is preferred
Global understanding of activity -- the timing of reserves, monitoring & guiding of medical claims
The ability to effectively articulate strong verbal and written skills is essential to effectively communicate with location members, representatives of Third-Party Administrator, and Attorneys
Able to thrive in a multi-functional environment and work both autonomously and as a collaborative team member

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. Pay Range:
