Workday Senior Project Associate (Continuous Value Services)

The Workday Senior Project Associate (Continuous Value Services) is a project manager who thrives on client, company, and team accomplishments. This person will manage a portfolio of small to medium post-production engagements, including project/staffing plans, issues log, etc. while driving client satisfaction. Any budget or resourcing constraints will be communicated and addressed, keeping in mind the project’s success and profitability.  

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate competency in Cynergy™ Implementation Methodology.    

  • Manage up to 30 small to medium Continuous Value Services post-production engagements. 

  • Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed. 

  • Provide guidance and mentoring to Project Associates working on Continuous Value Services engagements. 

  • Work with client project manager to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or time frames. 

  • Ensure projects tasks are delivered within the budget outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) and according to the agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) 

  • Present clients with change orders in the event Cognizant is being asked to perform tasks that are outside the scope of the SOW or require additional budget.  

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and competing priorities across a variety of client with minimal direction. 

  • Supporting CVS Engagement Managers on larger projects as needed.  

  • Ensure and maintain client references through ongoing customer satisfaction. 

  • Additional duties as assigned by manager

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Information Systems or equivalent experience

  • 3 years of experience in project coordination or equivalent, preferably in the professional services or software industry. 

  • Previous Workday experience strongly preferred, but not required. 

  • A practitioner background in HR, Finance, or Payroll 

  • Very organized individual with the ability to work in a highly deadline-driven environment with strong time management and multi-tasking skills. 

  • Excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail 

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating flexibility, accountability, initiative, and self-motivation to identify and execute tasks. 

  • Ability to work closely with remote project teams with varying work styles and work schedules. 

  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote) 

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until 02/22/2026 The annual salary for this position is between USD $93,146 - USD $118,513 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
