Workday Product Manager

IE - Ballineen, Cork Full time

Company Overview

Synergy Flavors, part of the Carbery Group, is more than just a leading international supplier of ingredients to the global food and beverage industry—we’re a team driven by purpose. Our vision is simple yet powerful: enriching lives through healthier and tastier foods.

We believe great flavor starts with great people. That’s why we’re committed to hiring creative, passionate individuals who want to make a real impact. With deep expertise across food, beverage, and nutrition, our teams develop high-quality taste solutions that inspire innovation and elevate everyday experiences.

Your Role in Synergy's Success

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to drive the vision and execution of enhancements to Workday across modules such as Compensation, Benefits, Core HCM, Learning and Talent Acquisition; experience with at least one of these areas is required, and experience across multiple modules is a plus.

This role is both strategic and tactical: you will influence product direction while also driving end to end execution of projects that improve HR operations and the employee experience in Workday. You will be a strategic partner for HR stakeholders and a champion for employee experience, using strong written and verbal communication to articulate product vision, goals, and decisions through effective storytelling.

How You Will Contribute

Objectives, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Own and translate HR business needs into clear, actionable requirements or well‑structured user stories (Agile).

  • Ensure requirements are prioritized, traceable, and aligned to both business value and platform capabilities within Workday.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business stakeholders on Workday capabilities and best practices.

  • Balance global standardization with business-specific needs in a multi-brand retail environment.

  • Facilitate workshops, clarify ambiguity, manage expectations, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Enable data-driven decision making, automation and AI opportunities.

  • Lead or contribute to Workday-related projects and initiatives (HR and business-driven).

  • Manage evolving requirements with a clear understanding of downstream impacts to scope, timelines, and resources.

  • Proactively identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies before they become delivery blockers.

  • Contribute to project planning, sequencing, and dependency management.

  • Continuously improve how requirements, user stories, and product documentation are created and maintained.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Experience (Required to perform the job)

Essential:

  • 2 – 4 years proven experience working with Workday in a product, functional, or consulting role

  • Hands‑on experience with multiple Workday modules

  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, and how technology enables business value

  • Comfortable working with stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels

  • A product mindset, with a focus on value, prioritization, and continuous improvement

  • Structured yet pragmatic, with the ability to navigate complexity in a dynamic environment

  • Enjoy working in global, cross‑functional teams

Desirable:

  • Background in multi‑brand environments.

  • Strong knowledge of HR data governance and data management.

  • Involvement in large‑scale transformation programs.
